Kiat went on a biz trip to Taipei/Tokyo sometime during the 3rd week of Aug and these were his loot!
Did not expect him to buy anything back as it was a pretty packed trip. He said he got all these from the airport lol. I simply love the packaging of the Japanese to the point that I sometimes refuse/cannot bear to tear open the wrapper. Hence, I delegated this task to Kiat who has no hesitation in tearing up the wrapper in seconds and then trying out all the different goodies in the boxes.
I hate departures of any form;sending people off at the airport,farewells,death… I do not relate very well to departure. So when it came to my last day at work, I was glad it went pretty smoothly. We were only short of popping the champagne though CNU did ask me if they will be any party to celebrate my release here whahaha. (It also helped that CYP popped by and gave me a lift to SP for clearance! Thanks!!)
Being the cam whore, of coz, I must take pictures of my workplace where I spent my past 4 years, (2 at TP, 2 at TB) and also to mark down the place where I endured so much shit from customers and sometimes cmi colleagues. You wonder how come such people exists one-OCL and my petphrase to each other: 为什么你会有这种同事的!!??!!? On the bright side, this is also the place where I met some really great people!
Our AO office where we saw one too many dramas unfold here….one of which is the encounters with the infamous Ms Lee whom even NLI knows at her workplace. When she comes in to terrorize the poor CCH,CTS,LHM or WTO, we will all try to siam her before she launches into her crazy self. She will boast that she knows ‘Nathan’ and ‘Hsien Loong’ and will not hesitate to call them to complain etc. Siao Cha Bo!!

For my farewell meal with my department, we went to Jack Place’s at GWC for dinner.

My sirloin steak-yums..before that we had the lobster bisque. The manager even gave us a glass of complimentary red wine each. We all had dessert after that as well, so full!

21st May 09-Thursday.
My last official lunch with my colleagues boo hoo. Roped CNU to join us as well. We went to 别府 at TBP. (On DWG’s last day, we also went to 别府, so qiao)
4 chili is too much, I shall stick to 2 only.

To start off this entry, last Thursday was my last day at my company-sobs sobs. The whole week was spent having farewell lunches with my colleagues. Luckily I had already met up with JM and Shopping Queenie the week before :P
18th May 09-Monday-Girls lunch out @ IKEA
Got CNU to go have lunch with us as she never joins us for our daily lunch due to our different lunch timings habits. She, being one of my closest colleague here, I must have lunch with her before I ciao and the good OCL arrange for her, LHM and MRW to proceed to IKEA on Monday!
CNU and me are camera siao so it was fun for us to snap pictures all the way.
When at IKEA, must order the chicken wings and meatballs. LHM ordered the wrong set for me and OCL!!We wanted just the meatballs but she got the ones with pasta-the pasta cmi. But if not for her being in the front of the queue,we may have to wait really long for the food, so we forgive her for that whahahaha
MRW and CNU had the fried bee hoon set which surprisingly was pretty good.
After filling our stomach, it was..yes..cam whoring time again..
Upstairs got gold is it……? :P

Went to GWC with ATY for lunch and caught up with him on his baby and dept.

20th May 09-Wednesday
Had lunch with the Finance ladies-SKR,KLM and CKH. In fact, we worked so closely but it was the first time I had lunch with them. Well, better late than never.
We went to Griller at TBP.
As usual, I heard loads of ‘news’ from them hehe and they are so nice to treat me to ice cream in addition to the F&C as well :) So full and in the evening, it was my dept dinner-really ate like mad this week. More of that in the next post…
