三月的槟城

邵先生上个星期在槟城。

这个星期四会与家人到曼谷，星期六回新加坡，星期天飞洛杉机。

Mac kids

Brought the boys to Kallang Mac for brunch yesterday. 

Before that, the father took them to Ecp. 

Mum's trip Down Under

My mum went to Sydney with my cousin and aunties at the beginning of March. 

They were bringing my aunty's ashes to a temple in Sydney.

Grateful to my cousin for bringing them on this trip.

Dengue fever

Yours truly is so lucky to have gotten the dengue fever last week. 

6th Mar-I was in a meeting at work and I remember feeling damn cold in the room. Came out of the meeting and was shivering like mad. Went home and was feeling the chills. Knew that I got the fever. Ate med and zzzz

7th Mar-still fever and cannot bring the boys out. Mr K brought them swimming downstairs.

8th Mar-still fever so went to see the doctor. If fever still persists, to go back for blood test. Was on mc on Monday.

Mr K brought the boys to Katong Shopping centre to settle our helper's renewal thingy.

They ate at the yummy chicken rice stall there.

10th Mar-Went back to office but still do not feel well so went to the clinic at my office. Took a blood test and went home to rest. The doc called me in the late afternoon to inform I tested positive for dengue. Below pic taken today, arm still blue black from the blood test.

No more fever on Wed but Thursday was down with headache and nauseous the whole day.

Spent the rest of the week resting at home. Went back to the doctor on Friday to do another blood test. Am on the road to recovery.

This was the worst fever I have ever encountered. The body/back aches are enough to kill me. 是痛到........I am glad I was the only one who got this terrible fever in the household. Cannot imagine the boys getting it. 

The NEA people came last Thur after being informed by the doctor. They came back again on Friday to spray our premise. 

My colleague say that horses this year do not have good health. Very true, Jan I got a nasty cough and now dengue. Pray no more major illness for me this year!

Two and a half

5th Mar 15-Koen turn 2.5 years old today!

Love him soo much ..!

PS: At 2.5, Koen stands at 92cm while his hyung was 97cm.

Overnight oats

I am into the overnight oats craze lately and have been making it for Mr K's lunch twice weekly.

Will try out different flavors soon.

Botanic Garden-National Orchid Garden

My colleague told me the National Orchid Garden is open foc to the public till 8th Mar so I jioed the wags and only H is free to join us. 

It's my first time inside the orchid garden.

First time I saw pussy willows grow in soil.

Burkill Hall

We proceeded to Pasarbella at the Grandstand for lunch. My first time there too after hearing so much about this place.
