^Waving to the helicopter^

He started walking shortly after he turned 1 year old and there is no stopping him thereafter. He is all over the place now! He is great at recognising things, his memory is super good and can say a few words-Papa, Mama, Popo (he can’t do the O, so he calls my mum PePe), bus, ball, wet, bird, dog, ba (for banana-now he can say nana but not the whole word together lol),shoe, 美美 (he is super vain, just like his dad haha),jiejie, moon (cant do the O yet,so he calls the moon ‘mag’)…

More photos of him Smile

GE 2011

GE 2011 has officially ended but I only have time to update about this now. Why?-Me just started a new job and have been working late and even on Sat non-stop, so ‘lucky’ me. Hopefully after Jun 7 it will be better. (It better be!!)

I thought I would not have a chance to vote but other than those staying at Tanjong Pagar GRC (My previous GRC), all of us got to vote!

pollingcard

I am under Marine Parade GRC-the battle of TPL vs NS, oh well…..

We made sure we attend at least one rally and we did managed to find time to go to the NSP rally at Tampines. The opposition had a good time bashing Mr MBT. One of them said: 他虽然长得不高可是建得屋子的价銭佷高。LOL

There was a photo-taking incident when we were there which led to some bickering between a guy and the polling officer, luckily it was resolved quickly.

We all stayed up till the wee hours to watch the election results live and was not surprise that PAP won for our GRC but were surprise that the margin was so close. I think this serves as awake up call to them if not when the next election comes, they may lose to the opposition.

Day 2 and 3-台北: 师大夜市 and HSH

After Yang Ming Shan, we went back to our hotel-along the way, we passed by the Flower Expo.

It was a very sunny afternoon that day.

After a quick rest, we set off to 师大夜市. It was our first time at this night market. We had beef noodles for dinner! Yums!

Went to eat brunch before checking out. Wanted to find some local breakfast joint but most were not open. However we managed to find a pretty nice cafe and popped in to have something to eat.

On the HSR to airport.

IMG_0472

Saw many reporters in the airport and was wondering which artiste is coming to the airport-it was Sun Yanzi. She was on the same flight as us back to SIN.

Home Sweet Home, it was a good trip but it was too short! Thank you K for this trip!

Day 2-台北: 陽明山..(继续)

After visiting the calla lilies, I (die die) also want to go to 台北 奧萬大 which is also in Yang Ming Shan to see the red leaves as I read from the internet you can view the red leaves from there.

After getting directions from some passer-bys, we proceeded to the place.

IMG_7725

IMG_7729

We saw people queuing to go into a restaurant and after figuring out, realised we have to get in in order to see view the leaves..duh! Decided to join the queue as we had already come this far. Felt kinda cheated as shouldn’t viewing nature be free instead of having to queue to get into a ‘restaurant’ to do so. The people who operated this place really know to do business. There is a min charge we had to pay before we were allocated seats.

IMG_7732

After a 30min wait or so, we finally got in.

ymsawd1

It was an open air place for you to eat, drink and take in the sights.

Not a very happy K as we had to forego going to a popular BBQ place for lunch in town due to the long wait here.

IMG_7765

We had lunch here instead…

After eating, we went up to take some photos..!

When we left the place, there was still a long queue of people waiting to come in.

It was a nice place but too bad if we were there 2 weeks earlier,we would be able to see more redness!
