Kain turned 3 months yesterday!

Till date, the little boy now can recognise people, make goo goo, ah ah, eh eh sounds, smack his hands and is kicking his legs as vigorously as ever.

To ECP we go

I (we) finally brought Kain to ECP yesterday. It was raining again yesterday and we were wondering if the ECP plan can take off. Well, it did :-)

It has been raining cats and dogs for the past few days.

The skies cleared up and we left around 1pm for a late lunch at The Playground-Sushi Tei!

Bb was obedient and slept while we were having lunch :P

 

 

 

Can’t wait to go there again..!

1 belated, 2 advanced

I met up with the babes on Friday for our birthday celebrations. This year, we decided to celebrate our birthdays at one go as we are pretty close by-June and July.  In fact, PZ and me are just 3 days apart. Mar suggested going to The Queen and Mangosteen at Vivo. It was nice though we had to wait quite a while before we could get a table. I realised there are quite a few new restaurants in Vivo or have I been in hiatus for too long? There is Fruit Paradise, the one with the yummy fruit tarts as well as 满记, the Hong Kong dessert chain.

The food was not bad. Can consider going again!

It was good to see the gals again. Happy Birthday to us all! PZ: brace up for the 1st day of school tomorrow!

Shanghai Expo

K is back from SHA and he managed to squeeze some time out to go to the Shanghai Expo. Here are some pictures.

Shanghai Expo-He said he got cut queue at least 20 times, well, this is China for you, Mr K.

 

 

Seriously I do not know what is the hype about this Expo. Seems to me a waste of resources haha!

Chocolate Chunk Cookies

Mar came over yesterday and baked chocolate chuck cookies.

We used another type of chocolate instead of what was indicated in the recipe so the colour did not come out as we like and it was a tad too sweet, will try again next time.

To celebrate, we went to The Prime Society for dinner yesterday.

 

The food and service is good! Thumbs up :) As we (I) have the habit of eating early, I made an early reservation and there were no one in our section throughout the meal. I told him I actually blocked out the whole section for him haha. I remembered there was one year we went to Just Steak and it was the same-we were the only one there as we were considered early for dinner.

The little one was happily entertaining himself except for some whimpers along the way.
