Unexpected Add-on

We are off to HKG tomorrow! On top of that, Kiat’s big boss wanted him to go to Beijing to meet some customers next Thursday, so we gota leave HKG one day earlier and make our way to Beijing.

He is quite xian as this is eating into his leave time and now we are only coming back on Sat and Sun is his marathon, woo hoo~ but I am pretty cool because I have never been to Beijing, not even during SQ days. However, the weather is killing us. It is freezing over there. I though I could skip all the thick winter wear for this HKG trip but who knows, I have to dig them out still.

It was a mad rush yesterday for his dept sec (aka our baby consultant) to book the tickets, hotel and transfer yesterday and now its a mad rush for me to pack pack pack.

Nov meet ups

Nov is a month of meeting up with friends-Baby visit to XM’s place and with ZY where  I finally got my loot, overdue birthday dinner with WQ and DL, breakfast date with Rena and gang (guess she must be busy tying up all the loose ends for her upcoming wedding), lunch appointments with ex colleagues and friends..pretty busy.

On the agenda was meeting up with our dear friend,Mon who is back in town to visit her parents and we met up for dinner on Thursday with Mar, PZ and Kiat. Pity Marj could not make it.

There is a party to attend to this evening at Kiat’s boss house and of course the last holiday for the year is just around the corner, counting down to HKG! It’s been 4 years since I last stepped foot in HKG!

My Lunch Affairs

These days, when I am not out during the day, I will have to prepare lunch. Lunch is usually a very fast and one dish affair.
