Met up with WQ and DL yesterday. We had a nice dinner at Ma Maision (the wait was terrible though) followed by desserts at MOF. Yumsss…we had a good time catching up as always :-)
It’s Christmas Eve today!! Go have some fun everyone!
Now that K is clearing leave, his mum took the opportunity to ask him bring them to Sentosa. We were like..go Sentosa??!!? Since she asked, he obliged.
It was a very sunny Monday afternoon when we set off for Sentosa.
Our first stop was Sentosa Cove-One 15 Marina Club. After coming here, I still can’t believe Gaw bought a place here, he really is 钻士王老五.
Next stop was to Rasa Sentosa for drinks.
Final destination was Siloso Beach.
The MIL was quite excited when she saw the next car with the same carplate number, lol.
That’s our day trip to Sentosa.
It was 冬至 yesterday and we had a sumptuous dinner at my mum’s place. Had 2 rounds of tang yuan, first at mum’s, then to the in-laws side. Too bad, no pictures as we were all busy eating :P.
Mr K had a haircut yesterday and came back with this-to match his Christmas party’s theme this year. Really must go all the way meh.
I also received this from the mail yesterday from D-Thanks a million again!
I still have so many entries not yet updated!!! The trip is only done till Day 2, faints.
We were at SW’s place once again for our annual potluck.
It was great catching up with the rest and good to see EA able to join us this time round!
Last Sat was the AO’s annual Christmas dinner and my ex-colleagues invited me along, so sweet of them.
For 2 years running, CCH was my gift bearer, so qiao.
We also celebrated CNU’s birthday in advance. The lucky gal is having fun in Tokyo now!
Always good to see them again :-)
It has been non stop action since we came back from Beijing. The past 2 weeks have been spent meeting friends, shopping and eating non stop again. Does not help that K is clearing leave as well and he has been playing his Dragon Age non stop and I can’t watch all my taped shows on cable. I only managed to finish watching all of them yesterday when he went out for basketball. <shake head>

This week is no better, going to Sentosa with the in laws later, tomorrow is 冬至. Meeting WQ and DL on Wed for DL’s belated birthday dinner and Thur is the annual Christmas BBQ with K’s friends at our place.

RM prepared breakfast for us, we were damn amazed by his big portions.
After breakfast, we rolled down to H&M on the way to meet W at Causeway Bay.
Passed by the famous egg tart shop, 泰昌饼家. The one that Chris Patten used to patronize.
CNU-it’s really good!!! The egg tart was piping hot. The filling is so soft but I find the pastry a bit buttery. We only bought one to try as we were still full from yesterday’s meal plus the breakfast earlier on.
We met W at 1230pm and he treated us to this Tepanyaki place-Hana Sakazuki. It was one of the best meal we had in HKG!
We had a room that can sit 5 pax. Later on, a couple came to join us.
The food is so fresh and yummy, I am so hungry now.
We were so full after the meal but W still brought us to have dessert nearby. Really eat till our stomach cannot take it for this trip.
After bidding farewell to W, we went to Sogo and Times Square.
Went back to D’s place and got ready to go 西贡 for seafood dinner. Kiat got a taste of parking in HKG as Rita asked him to help park her car at the carpark. It was so narrow he had to maneuver at least 3 times before he can park the car into the lot and there were many cars behind him hehe stress.
You choose the seafood and tell them how you want them to be prepared, very fresh!
Really so grateful to our friends for taking time off to have dinner 2 days in a row with us.
