New Balance Real Run

Mr Kiat participated in the New Balance Real Run yesterday. The event took place at Changi Exhibition Centre, a super ulu place.

He went for the Mens Open 15m run.

I was there as well as I was designated driver cum supporter cum carrier for the day. We got lost along the way and turned too early and ended up at Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal. Luckily we managed to find the right place and got into Changi Coast Road before they closed the road at 7am.

Never been here before, there is so much space everywhere.

Changi Exhibition Centre.

Doing warm ups.

The exterior

President was the guest of honor.

The 10km run started at 730am, the 15km was at 745am.

On your mark, get SET.......

GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Off they went...

Mr President being driven to the exhibition centre when commoners like us must walk there.

Me, I explored the surroundings.

Changi Beach

At around 805am,the winner for the 10km run reached the finishing line.

All the other runners followed...I was keeping a lookout for Mr Kiat. The weather was really hot, quite pity the runners having to run under the hot sun.

This picture is meant to capture the plane which has just taken off :P

Finally saw him..

Mission accomplished

Goodie pack collected

We left at 11am for a smooth ride home........

JJeo and Cass's Wedding-27th Oct 07

I attended JJ and Cass wedding yesteday at Suntec. Very happy to see this couple getting married.

It was like a cluster B reunion as I met up with many of my ex colleagues. Met Rena at the reception but she had to leave after dropping off her red packet as she got another wedding to attend. So many people getting married......

With Daniel and Fay

With the ever bubbly Ivy

Cass the beautiful bride! (she is also my SA Junior :P)

Marcel and Sonny!

Lyndie, Marcel,Denna and Agnes, I miss them!!They are such warm people.

The dinner ended around 1030pm, the food was very good, in fact, I would say it was one of the best which I have eaten after attending so many weddings. Stayed till 11pm to chat with the rest and take photos.

Wishing you forever love and happiness, Cass and JJeo!

Chinese Food

Posting some food pictures up. I know zy is going to kill me for posting all the food pics :)

My favourite roast duck! My colleagues and I went to this Asian Cafe for lunch at Raffles City where their specialty is the roast duck.

I spent Friday afternoon with my mum-we went to Fortunate Restaurant at International Building for Dim Sum high tea.

Satisfied.

Ma Masion

Have you been to Parkview Square? The Gothic building in Bugis.

It was my first time there last Wed with Kiat as we need to settle some errands.

Took some pictures of the place.

After that, we hopped over to Bugis for dinner. Dinner was settled at Ma Maison.

It's a Japanese establishment, food was not bad.

We had the minced beef cutlet as well as some pasta wrapped in omelette dish.

The setting kinda reminded me of the restaurant in Florance, CJ.

A warm welcome to Baby Caden!

Congrats to Jinny and Kenny on the arrival of their baby boy Caden yesterday night,2145 to be exact. I was still telling Kiat yesterday night I wonder when will she give birth and this morning, saw her sms that she has already delivered.

Went to visit them at Mt A earlier on. Both mother and baby are doing very well :) Baby is cute, (I find all babies look alike :P)

Giving birth is really a very 伟大 thing!!!! Imagine the 9 months of carrying the baby inside your tummy, plus the delivery pain and what nots and then devoting all your time and energy to take care of the baby and nuture him to be a fine person. Gosh!! So Kudos to all MUMS and MUMs to be!

生日快乐!!

今天是我妈妈的生日,在此祝她生日快乐,身体健康!!!!! Talking about my mum, being a true blue cantonese, she is very good at brewing soups and we are very lucky to be able to drink soup for at least an average of 3 times per week. (Tco,this is why I do not want to go to the soup stall for lunch :P)

1) Black Chicken Soup 2)Lotus roots, chestnut, red dates soup

3) Chinese herbs and pork soup 4)Jiu cai soup
