The place was filled mostly with ang mohs. The recept, this Malay girl, think she SPG, attitude towards us quite bad. Anyway, the other staff inside (mostly her race) was not bad, so made up for her lack of service.
We ordered an apppertiser and shared 2 main courses as WQ says the portion is quite big.

IT's the garlic bread. It is one of the store's specialty and highly recommended by WQ and yes indeed,it's really delicious. The 3 of us ate up the whole loaf before the main course arrived.
For the main couse, we ordered the prawns skewers and beef fillet.
Not too bad though not that fantastic.
By the time we tucked into our 2nd main couse, it was already 920pm and we were wondering how come they did not come out to perfom. So being Ms WQ, she asked the staff over and queried them. They said that they will only do it if the crowd is there. Being a friday night, the restaurant was 3/4 full. WQ say she was told when she made reservation that they will be one at 9pm. Haha, so shortly after, the staff all came out, turned on the music, started dancing and smashing plates. The other guests will quite on also and everyone of us were clapping along.
We were wondering if they are ever going to give us some plates to smash also?? Wq say if they don't give us, we will smash the plates from our own table hahaha. No worries coz they gave us some plates to smash. It was fun!

After dinner, we adjourned opp to Coffee Bean for desserts :) The promo is ending on the 31st Jul 07. Good deal because the main course are quite expensive. 1 main course will set you back by $35 to $50.

Yesterday,we met up with mar and gang for steamboat at Beach Road. Very good weather to eat steamboat! The past week has been raining non stop, the weather is so cooling. Weirds that July will experience this kinda weather,haizs, what is our world coming to?
Luckily we made reservations. The queue was sooooooooooooo loooong when we reached and it was quite early I would say-630pm. We had the clear and tomyum soup base. The tomyum base was good,our 1st time having that as XH says the mala will be too hot. The place was so crowded, it was filled to the brim. We ate a lot of prawns :P and around 830pm, we were done and headed for St James.
After hearing so much about it being the "IT" place now, it was finally my turn to set foot here. The other 3 have already been there before. Since we reached so early, we did not even have to pay the cover charge, lol. We explored the different rooms, starting with Movida (Our aim of coming here-for the Spanish band),Gallery Bar,Drangonfly-yes,the canto/mandopop section,Bellini Room (Jazz). Each section has its own live band.

We went back to Movida and hung around there once the band started playing.
PS: It's a great idea to ban smoking in all the pubs here! For once, my eyes were not teary and as mar says, we can see things clearer inside the pub haha. Smoking should be ban EVERYWHERE!!!
