Xh's bdae! We met on Fri to celebrate for her. She treated us to dinner at IMM. I have not been there for ages and there were so much changes at that place.
After dinner, we went to her new place and chatted the night away.

Day 3
17th Mar 07,Sat
As usual, it was very hot and crowded. After walking for a while, we saw a cart similar to those at our night safari ,that ferries people around the market. We hopped onto it and 'toured' around the market in it.

Left CTC shortly after and headed back to the hotel. I went for some last min shopping at Platinum Mall and Pratunam market again :P
Roadside stalls
Left the hotel at 5pm to go to the airport, the cab driver wanted to kan me and make me pay 500 Baht to go to the airport, without turning on the meter. I refused and he settled for an extra 50 baht to the fare stated on the meter.

BKK's new airport.
After breakfast and checking out, we went to Chatuchat weekend market. Wanted to skip that but there were many hours to kill before we depart for the airport, hence decided to go there in the end.
Met up with my dad and we bought some fruits back. Among them were these water apple, jambu. (Sha, seen them before?)

It's home sweet home and I can't wait to go on my next destination!

Day 2 continue...
After Wat Pho, we walked over to the Grand Palace. It was a good 10 to 15 mins walk under the sorching sun :(
I had the teriyaki chicken set while my dad had the prok cutlet set. The set cost 99 baht each, my god, only $4!!!

Pink eggs? These are BKK's century eggs.
Dinner was at a Jap place at Big C building
I ordered green tea and this was how it was served :P

BKK Day 2
16th Mar 07, Friday

The image of the reclining buddha was indeed a sight to behold.
My badly touched up photoshop piece.
Now for the real thing:

The buddha's sole is inlaid with mother of pearls.

You can make a donation and then take a cup of coins and drop them one by one into these pots

Murals on the wall
The compound of Wat Pho

Day 2 was more of a sightsee day.
After breakfast, it was off to Wat Pho-The largest reclining buddha statue in Thailand.

Now for the real thing:
