今天是大年初一,在此祝大家新年快,心想事成!!

Gosh,my Chinese has detoriated so much..just typing the above 1 sentence out actually took me quite a while..that's so horrible..:(

Did my share of bai nian this afternoon after lunch-well,gana asked the usual rounds of questions by the relatives-though CNY is my fav festival but the questionings are what I hated most and well, I just have to grit my teeth and bear with it,bo pians....

Yesterday around 11plus, met Kiat and we went to Chinatown for a while..it was so so crowded.

My friends (even XH's mum) have been saying those born in the year of the Horse is supposed to be very 旺 this year of the Dog. I seriously hope its true !!!! :)

CNY eve

Today is Chu Xi ..just had our reunion dinner..we had steamboat,just like what many families are having too. Last year was also a steamboat affair-my mum says its easier to prepare :P No need to cook and fry or steam...just throw the food inside hehehe

Kiat is back in town :) Went to watch The Chronicles of Narnia yesterday-a long awaited show,it was supposed to be watched during Christmas time but it was not showing in HKG when I was there. Luckily they are still showing it here though the run is coming to an end very soon..The show was ok,the effects were a bit fake-kinda disappointing but it was entertaining nonetheless.

Gosh,after CNY,the next holiday would be in Apr-Good Friday,so sad..that's so far away.......

An eventful long weekend...

It has been an eventful long weekend for me.....:)

Took off on Friday,20th Jan 06,to attend Just's ROM...so shiok to have a long weekend and only work 4 days in a week..how I wish it was permanent...
Just's ROM was held at the Merchant Court poolside..Mar and I met at the lobby and made our way up to level 2. It was very nicely decorated!




After the ceremony,it was photo taking time.



After which, it was down to the Ellenborough Cafe for buffet lunch..yums..I love the food there..esp the Durain paste..my fav!The dessert spread was really sumptous...In addition to the usual cakes,tarts,ice cream,mousse,there were also pular hitam,tang yuan,fu chok bai guo,green bean soup,kueh lapis,tapioca cake...but I hardly ate those coz I was already quite full..sad eh...
Left around 2pm....Once again, congrats Just and Kel! Bet you guys must be having loads of fun in Thailand now....

After the ROM,Mar and I went to Funan before we decided to go..KTV..one of our fav past time :) Sang to our heart's content before we proceeded to GWC to meet pz for dinner and movie-Memoirs of a Geisha..well the show was ok,ending changed,I still felt that age gap between Chiyo and the Chairman was very huge.........kinda 'weird' that this girl can like the guy when she was only 10plus and continue to do so for the rest of her life.........

Movie ended around midnight..PZ's parents were so kind to send me and mar home ....

Yesterday was mostly spent at Mar's garage sale at her grandma's place...The weather was so hot yesterday..by the time we set up the stuff,we were sweating like mad....



We exchanged some items which we liked :P and for those items left, we donated them all to charity...luckily it only rained after we have packed up...we met PZ again at GWC for dinner and having nothing to do,we watched another movie-Proof.

Today was spent on spring cleaning and its done! Its raining again..poor sellers in Chinatown,really no business for them......

There will 2 previews next week-Mon and Tue,then a flyer distributiobn exercise on Thursday before I can look forward to my half day off on Fri.Can't wait!!!

Spring cleaning...

Its a bright and sunny Sunday today,after days of rain from the past week,this weekend has been really sunny and bright! I do not really like rainy weather because I hate to carry umbrellas with me but then again, it's so nice to sleep in...haizs...life is full of contradiction sometimes....

Once again, I have not been updating my blog as regular as I would like....work has been quite busy...trying very hard to hit my targets! :( Well,I know its just work but then ,you have to show some results right, otherwise will not reflect very well also...stress!!!

Next Friday is Just's ROM at the Merchant court hotel :) Mar and I took a day leave's so that we can attend,which also means a long weekend for me hehehe...Talk about weddings and ROMs, I received 2 red 'bombs' yesterday..2 in a single day is too much for me haha...both are my old frens-1 from SA and the other my Primary School. Well, I have already anticipated their invites as they have already gotten ROMed last year and have informed me about the traditional,but so qiao,they would inform me on the same day..:P This year I have have quite a number of friends getting married..in Dec,I already know of 4 and dear XM already booked us on the 9th :P really advanced booking man..in fact one of the invites from yesterday was for Oct..

Went to town yesterday with Mar to buy Just's ROM gift.After getting it, we went for dinner,movie-In Her Shoes,nice show! and shopping! It was so crowded,everyone was buying stuff for CNY in Taka and the cashier queues at ALL the counters were so long..gosh...Heard Chinatown is worse..I will be going there later to get some stuff but most importanly to get a hair dryer..my hair dryer exploded on Fri..scary...

CNY is just around the corner..this is my fav Chinese festival of the year where there are lotsa goodies to feast on and ang baos to collect,a time to meet up with relatives and hope they will spare me with all the 'aunties questions'.. CNY also means I need to continue with cleaning up the house later....:(

It's the start of a new year and 1 week has gone by...have been busy clearing my work and meeting up with my friends.

Met Zy and Xm on Tuesday for dinner at Beach Road-hotpot. He went back to MAN on sun and will graduate very soon in April. So fast......wonder if he will come back to sin after that or not..

Finally met my Uni friends on Friday when we went to sw's house to visit her and baby. Her baby is so cute :)

Sha is already back in usa..so fast! Hope she comes back soon...

Am back in Singapore...Suppose to post up more pictures of the trip but I did not bring the disk back,only have the following 2 taken from my hp..Will post up the Zhuhai trip photos once i get my hands on them..:P



I was at Times Square on the afternoon of New Year's Eve when Kiat and Ry were busy playing basketball coz I needed to collect something for my aunt. They were having the Times Square Apple Countdown later in the evening and the people were busy preparing for the celebration. (On the wall of the brown building were the numbers 10-1 within an apple..can't really see that in the pic)

We spent New Year's Eve at home coz we do not not want to squeeze with the crowd :P after the Christmas eve incident hehe...
